Eucalyptus Systems Nets Venture Capital Funding

Goleta, California  --  IT company Eucalyptus Systems has secured $20 million in new venture capital investment.

Eucalyptus has developed a commercial open source private cloud software application for enterprise IT uses.

New Enterprise Associates led the round, which also included previous investors Benchmark Capital and Bertelsmann Ventures. The company said it would use the funding to scale its operations.
