Calient Networks Nets $10 Million Venture Capital

Goleta, California  --  Networking technology company Calient Networks has raised $10 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

Calient Networks provides intelligent, photonic switching systems and software to assist service providers in scaling their networks.

Investors in the new funding were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
