AOL Launches Mobile Portal And Android App

Mountain View, California  --  Internet service provider AOL (NYSE: AOL) announced the launch of a new mobile device portal and applications for the Google Android platform.

The smartphone portal is designed to work on any mobile browser, supports the HTML5 standard and provides location-based information.

The company also announced two Android applications - an AOL content reader application and a DailyFinance application for real-time stock quotes and financial news.
