Marlborough, Massachusetts -- Storage technology company Storwize was acquired by IBM, according to a company press release.
Storwize had developed a suite of real-time data compression solutions that boost available storage space on network storage environments.
Transaction details were not disclosed by the companies, however some media outlets indicated the purchase price was around $128 million. |
