Avantra Bio Raises $7 Million VC Funding

Woburn, Massachusetts  --  Biotechnology company Avantra Biosciences has secured over $7 million in new venture capital investment, according to a regulatory filing.

Avantra is creating an integrated system of hardware, software and biology to assist scientists in performing multiplex biomarker analysis.

Investors in the new funding were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
