Axion Biosystems Secures $2 Million VC Funding

Atlanta, Georgia  --  Biotechnology company Axion Biosystems has garnered $2.1 million in new venture capital funding.

Axion Biosystems has developed proprietary technology that allows "simultaneous stimulation and recording of neural tissue."

Investors in the funding were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
