Xtify Nets Series A Venture Capital Investment

New York, New York  --  Internet software company Xtify has secured $2.8 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing.

Xtify provides a location-based API for mobile devices that allows mobile developers to integrate its SDK to deliver geo-triggered notifications directly to each mobile phone.

Acadia Woods Ventures made the investment, along with other undisclosed investors. The company said it would use the financing proceeds to enlarge its product development team.
