Complete Genomics Closes Series E Financing

Mountain View, California  --  Biotechnology company Complete Genomics secured $39 million in its fifth round of institutional venture capital investment.

Complete Genomics develops high performance DNA sequencing technologies to help reduce drug development research costs.

The investment syndicate was led by new investor Sands Capital Management. Investment proceeds purposes were not disclosed.
