Dragon Spacecraft Completes High-Altitude Drop Test

Hawthorne, California  --  Space Expiration Technologies (SpaceX) announced the successful completion of a high-altitude drop test for its Dragon Spacecraft.

The test, which included dropping the aircraft from a height of 14,000 feet, resulted in dual redundant parachutes deploying before the three main parachute deployment.

The Dragon will initially be used to transport cargo and then later will carry a human crew.
