deCarta Sees $6 Million Venture Capital Financing

San Jose, California  --  Software company deCarta has raised $6.17 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

deCarta has created a geospatial software platform that location-based services applications utilize.

Investors in the new funding were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
