Apptio Raises Series C Venture Capital Financing

Bellevue, Washington  --  Software company Apptio has secured $16.5 million in its third round of venture capital investment.

Apptio provides a software as a service solution to IT managers to help them understand and communicate the total cost and value of IT services.

Shasta Ventures led the round, which also included Greylock Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and Madrona Venture Group. The company intends to use the funding proceeds to accelerate its growth initiatives.
