Apple Ping Service Users Top 1 Million

Cupertino, California  --  Technology company Apple, Inc. announced the launch of a new service and social network for sharing music.

Called Ping, the service allows users to share their favorite music with others, leave comments and recommendations.

The company said that in the first 48 hours of its existence, over 1 million users joined the network.
