Backupify Raises Series A Venture Capital Investment

Louisville, Kentucky  --  Storage technology company Backupify has landed $4.5 million for its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Backupify provides online storage services for cloud-based applications.

Avalon Ventures and General Catalyst Partners led the round, which also included Lowercase Capital and First Round Capital. The company said it would use the financing proceeds to accelerate its product development and data management services.
