23andMe Lands $9 Million More Venture Capital

   Mountain View, California  --  Genetic testing company 23andMe has secured $9 million in additional venture capital investment for its third funding round.

23andMe provides consumers with the ability to have their complete genetic map created and to understand what their potential disease risks are.

MPM Capital made  the additional investment. The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
