Celleration Raises $8 Million Fifth VC Round

Eden Prairie, Minnesota  --  Medical device company Celleration has landed $8 million in its series E round of venture capital funding.

Celleration is developing what it calls "MIST Therapy System" that speeds up the healing of wounds.

SightLine Partners led the round, which included previous investors Baird Venture Partners, Aavin Equity Advisors, Triathlon Medical Ventures and New Science Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to develop additional applications for its MIST Therapy system.
