Kony Solutions Sees $19 Million Series A Round

   San Mateo, California  --  Mobile application company Kony Solutions has garnered $19.1 million in its first round of institutional venture capital commitments.

Kony allows companies to create mobile applications of their services that work across multiple mobile platforms.

Insight Venture Partners made the investment, which featured a $13.4 million first tranche.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its sales and marketing initiatives.
