GridPoint Garners New Venture Capital Round

   Arlington, Virginia  --  IT company GridPoint has secured $23.6 million in additional venture capital financing.

GridPoint provides power management and outage protection through its intelligent energy management systems for both residential and enterprise applications.

The financing was disclosed in an SEC regulatory filing. The company didn't say how the funding proceeds would be used.
