EyeGate Pharma Adds $6 Million Venture Capital

Waltham, Massachusetts  --  Ocular disease pharmaceutical company EyeGate Pharmaceuticals has garnered an additional $5.9 million in its fourth round of institutional venture capital financing.

EyeGate is developing safer, more effective and less invasive ocular treatments.

Investors in the additional financing were not disclosed. The company said it would use the funds to continue development of its dry eye syndrome treatment.
