AnaptysBio Secures $8 Million Venture Capital Funding

   San Diego, California  --  Biotechnology company AnaptysBio has received $8 million in venture capital equity financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

AnaptysBio says that it is developing somatic hypermutation for antibody discovery and optimization.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

AnaptysBio is still seeking an additional $13.9 million in financing, according to the filing.
