Consert Collects $7 Million VC Financing

Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Energy IT company Consert has secured $7 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Consert has developed what it calls an "intelligent load management system that creates measurable and verifiable capacity, dispatchable energy and cost savings for utilities."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Consert is still seeking an additional $1.7 million in financing, according to the filing.
