iMedX Garners New Venture Capital Investment

   Shelton, Connecticut  --  Software development company iMedX has received $950,000 in new investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

iMedX has created medical software and related services that it says can reduce physician transcription costs by 50%.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.
