Oak Brook, Illinois  --  Automotive industry technology company vAuto has announced the launch of a new inventory management system.

Called Provision, the application assists dealerships in determining which cars they should stock, how much they should pay for them and where they can find those cars.

The purpose of the application is to provide a "bridge" between retail marketplaces and wholesale marketplaces.

vAuto was acquired last year by automotive publishing company and retail marketplace operator AutoTrader.com.
