Live Gamer Nets $8 Million VC Financing

New York, New York -- Virtual marketplace company Live Gamer has secured $8 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Live Gamer has created a marketplace solution for player-to-player trading of virtual items.

It has also developed an advertising platform and targeted advertising network.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
