New Relic Receives $15 Million VC Funding

   San Francisco, California  --  Software development company New Relic has garnered $15 million in its latest round of institutional venture capital funding.

New Relic provides a Rails Performance Management description service that enables Ruby Rails developers to optimize their application performance.




DAG Ventures and Four Rivers Partners led the round, which also included previous investors Allen & Company, Benchmark Capital, Tenaya Capital and Trinity Ventures.

The company said it would use the funding to scale its business to meet demand.
