Impermium Garners Series A VC Financing

   Palo Alto, California  --  Security technology company Impermium has received $8 million in its first round of institutional VC investment.

Impermium provides a subscription service that protects users against social media spam and malware.





Highland Capital Partners led the round, which also included The Social + Capital Partnership and Freestyle Capital.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its engineering, sales, marketing and data analytics departments.
