San Francisco, California --  Internet company Nine Connections has announced the launch of its beta service to deliver relevant and insightful news from social networks.

The company says that its service leverages social media connections to provide "deeper, more novel news."

Users can organize up to nine contacts in separate subject grids and the company's recommendation algorithm then populates these separate subject grids in real-time.

The company was originally founded as FdForward, began its initial testing in the first quarter of this year and expects a full rollout in the first quarter of 2012.
