iTherx Pharma Lands $3 Million In VC Funding

   San Diego, California  --  iTherx Pharmaceuticals has secured $3.2 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

iTherx is a clinical stage stealth mode company that is developing new treatments for Hepatitis C.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

The Chief Scientific Officer is Flossie Wong-Stall, who was previously director of the AIDS Research Institute at the University Of California, San Diego.
