Astute Networks Adds Venture Capital Debt

   San Diego, California  --  Networking technology company Astute Networks has received $660,000 in new venture capital debt, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Astute sells what it calls "intelligent silicon-based protocol acceleration technologies."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

The company is backed by a syndicate of venture capital firms, including Scale Venture Partners, Tallwood Venture Capital and U.S.Venture Partners.
