Sotera Wireless Nets $9 Million Venture Capital

   San Diego, California  --  Mobile technology company Sotera Wireless has secured $9.2 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Sotera is developing a wireless platform for the continuous monitoring of patients who are ambulatory, either in the hospital or at home.




Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Sotera is still seeking $7.5 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
