Wurl Launches Mobile Video Channel Service

   Palo Alto, California  --  Mobile technology company Wurl has announced the launch of a new service for video publishers.

The service enables publishers or brands to build a network of followers by publicizing their "wrl.it" short link. Every time a new video is released, followers automatically receive a new notification. Videos are then available for on-demand streaming to their smartphone.

The company cites launch partners including the PBS News Hour, The Republican Senatorial Committee and Fora.tv.

Wurl says that it has raised over $3 million in investment capital over the past two years.
