ABI Says Femtocell Shipments Not Keeping Pace

   London, UK  --  Technology research firm ABI Research has a new research report out on femotcell industry activity.

According to the report, simply called "Femtocells" , the number of femtocell shipments in 2011 only amounted to approximately 2.5 million, compared to the expected 3 million - 4 million.

Furthermore, there was a significant increase in femtocell commercial operator contracts, which totaled 88 in 2011 and led to the increased expectations for shipments.
