NAPCO Security Technologies Ships Starlink 2

   Amityville, New York  --  Electronic security company NAPCO Security Technologies (NASDAQ: NSSC) has announced the first shipments of its Starlink 2 product.

The system is a two-way GSM alarm communicator that aims to replace the typical hardwired, dedicated phoneline that alarm systems utilize.

NAPCO says that it thinks the potential addressable market is in the tens of millions of competing alarm systems that could be upgraded to its new product.

The system is priced at $99.95 cost to installers and will provide a recurring monthly service fee of between $5 - $8.
