UpToDate Launches Clinician iPhone App

   Waltham, Massachusetts  --  Healthcare software company UpToDate has announced the launch of a downloadable local version of its existing application.

Called UpToDate MobileComplete, the application allows Apple iPhone users who are physicians and clinicians to search its extensive clinical content using an in-hospital wireless network connection.

The company says that its system provides up-to-date information to more than 450,000 clinicians worldwide and has been created by more than 4,800 editors, authors and peer reviewers.

The service searches more than 460 medical journals to make available the most recent content.
