American Tower Launches In-Building Wireless System

   Las Vegas, Nevada  --  American Tower Corp. (NYSE: AMT) announced the successful deployment of an LTE wireless in-building system.

The Multiple in Multiple Out (MIMO) In-Building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) was deployed to support the carrier's keynote address at the 2011 international consumer electronic show at the Las Vegas Hilton.

The capability was installed in four weeks and used existing cabling from the legacy DAS network.
