HP Launches TouchPad Tablet Computer

Palo Alto, California  --  Computer maker and services giant HP (NYSE: HPQ) announced the launch of a new tablet computing device.

Called the TouchPad, the device features the webOS that the company purchased when it acquired Palm Computing.

The device has a 9.7 inch diagonal flush capacitive multi-touch display and provides support for Adobe Flash 10.1.
