Diartis Finds New Venture Capital Investment

Mountain View, California  --  Diartis Pharmaceuticals has raised a new round of funding, according to a company statement.

Diartis is developing therapeutics for the treatment of metabolic diseases and is focused on early clinical development in the type II diabetes area.

Index Ventures and others made the investment. The company said it would use the funding to move its most promising compound through clinical development.
