Glaukos Lands New Venture Capital Investment

Laguna Hills, California  --  Medical device company Glaukos has secured $29.5 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Glaukos says that it is creating "a new class of micro-bypass therapies" to aid in the preservation of vision.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the investment proceeds.
