Basho Collects New Venture Capital Funding

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Software development company Basho Technologies has raised $7.5 million in new venture capital financing.

Basho has developed Riak, which is a distributed datastore application that is available both as an open-source and a paid commercial version.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, however the company said it plans to hire heavily in marketing and sales.
