Advanced Animal Diagnostics Adds $11 Million VC

Durham, North Carolina  --  Medical diagnostics company Advanced Animal Diagnostics has garnered $11 million in the new round of venture capital financing.

Advanced Animal is developing diagnostic technology to detect and manage disease states and overall animal health.

Intersouth Partners led the round, which also included the Novartis Venture Fund.

The company said it would use the financing to support its hiring program and on-farm economic trials of its first product line.
