BioNanomatrix Adds $23 Million Second VC Round

   Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  --  Biotechnology device company BioNanomatrix has secured $23.3 million in its series B round of institutional venture capital investment.

BioNanomatrix sells devices that analyze native state genomic, epigenomic and proteomic information down to the single cell/single molecule level.

Domain Associates led the round, which also included Gund Investment Corporation, Battelle Ventures, Innovation Valley Partners and KT Venture Group.

The company says that the financing will enable it to establish a strong West Coast presence for its marketing initiatives.
