PlaSec Garners $3 Million Venture Capital Investment

   Reston, Virginia  --  IT company PlaSec has raised $3.42 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

PlaSec has created a new platform that enables its appliance products to interoperate with a variety of identity management and network security systems.

Intersouth Partners was among the investors listed in the filing. Proceeds purposes were not disclosed.

The company is still seeking $1.1 million in additional financing according to the report.
