Achronix Semi Lands Series C Financing

Santa Clara, California  --  Achronix Semiconductor said that it has raised $40 million in its third round of venture capital investment.

Achronix builds high-speed field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) capable of up to 1.5 GHz the performance.

Investors in the financing included Argonaut Private Equity, Battery Ventures, New Science Ventures, Easton Capital and Entrepia.

The company said it would use the financing to accelerate investments in its existing and future products.
