Aerie Pharma Raises $25 Million Second Round

   Bridgewater, New Jersey  --  Aerie Pharmaceuticals has garnered $25 million in its series B round of venture capital investment, according to a report in VentureWire.

Aerie is developing new therapies for sight threatening diseases of the eye and is a spinout of the Duke University Medical Center.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
