Bioptigen Adds Venture Capital Investment

   Research Triangle Park, North Carolina  --  Medical device company Bioptigen has secured $1.5 million in new venture capital equity, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Bioptigen says that it has "pioneered a new class of in vivo optical imaging systems for biomedical applications."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
