Alert Logic Announces Fifth Venture Capital Round

   Houston, Texas  --  Security company Alert Logic has closed its series E round of venture capital funding at $12.6 million, according to a company announcement.

Alert Logic provides on-demand internal network security solutions from threats that bypass existing defenses.

Updata Partners, Covera Ventures, DFJ Mercury and Access Venture Partners made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand its channel sales efforts, broaden its product and service portfolio and invest in other aspects of its business.
