Calibra Medical Adds $8 Million VC Investment

   Redwood City, California  --  Medical device company Calibra Medical as secured just over $8 million in venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Calibra, formally known as Seattle Medical Technologies, develops and sells insulin delivery patches.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed. The company said it is still seeking $21.9 million in additional financing.
