Carmell Therapeutics Announces First VC Round

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Biotechnology company Carmell Therapeutics announced that it has raised its first institutional round of financing.

Carmell develops biologically active medical device technologies from blood plasma.

Harbor Light Capital Partners led the round, which also included the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, Innovation Works, BlueTree Allied Angels and others.

The company said it would use the $3 million in new funding to establish a pilot manufacturing facility.
