Kohort Grabs $3 Million Venture Capital Funding

   Burlington, Vermont  --  Internet company Kohort has landed $3 million in new venture capital investment.

Kohort is still in stealth mode but is believed to be developing social media-related technologies.

The financing round was led by IA Ventures and included High Peaks Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and others.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used and is still in beta testing stage.
