Ranker Lands Series A Venture Capital Funding

Hollywood, California  --  Internet technology company Ranker has secured $1.3 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Ranker provides an operating system that allows people to rank anything in a social environment.

Investors included Timothy Draper, Rincon Venture Partners, Pasadena Angels and others.

The compass said it would use the financing to continue development of its application.
