MegaWatt Solar Lands Venture Capital Investment

Hillsborough, North Carolina  --  Alternative energy company MegaWatt Solar has garnered $3.5 million in venture capital financing.

MegaWatt says that it is a "technology-centered global energy company committed to delivering scalable solar power generation systems."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.  The company is still seeking $3.87 million as part of the funding round.
